We think there are some amazing non-profits in our area doing dynamic good for those in need. We invite you to take a look at some of the projects and local non-profits that are assisting with the most fundamental needs in our community: Food, Shelter, Clothing and Water. We pass along 100% of the donations received at Homes For a Better World.
Mission
The mission of HFBW is rooted in the spirit of the Christian Beatitude "Blessed are the Merciful for they shall obtain Mercy". The core activities of living a merciful life are feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, clothing the naked, and giving shelter to the homeless. We invite people of all persuasions and faiths to join us in being a vessel of mercy to the world.
Food:
As we continue to develop and build relationships with organizations, we remind our readers that there is an ever present need around the world for people desperate to feed themselves. We have provided charitable organizations we know and trust, and are currently working out a relationship that quantifies specific needs our donors can assist with. In the mean time, we encourage everyone to continue to give to places like Haiti.
Shelter:
We love Tapestry Home's not only for their incredible work and dynamic approach to providing shelter to some of the poorest regions of the world; but for their simple business structure that easily shares what each donation covers. We plan to directly connect each donor to a specific purchase with each home built by Tapestry.

Clothing:
Colette's has been serving our community for over 10 years. We recognize the importance and effectiveness of Colette's Children's Home's Compassionate approach to ending suffering of women and children by breaking the vicious generational cycle of homelessness. We encourage everyone to support Colette's Homeless Shelter in anyway possible.

Water:
Water is the most vital necessity of human life, yet millions do not have access to clean potable water. As Homes For a Better World continues to grow, we plan to expland our giving powers to assisting with supplying many with this fundamental need. Even though our main focus is currently with local charities, we are under going intensive research to find further organizations to work with in the future.

We encourage all REALTORs to join us in making our world a better place. As we continue to grow we plan on finding more organizations and connecting donors to these needs. If you know of a charity you love and trust tell us about it. Eventually Homes For a Better World plans on having the capacity to connect local businesses and people with all as many needs as possible within our community.
